The joy of being women! We sent the guys to do laundry and we went shopping! Whoo-hoo.

These murals are located in the Tenderloin District which is a very poor area of San Francisco. Many homeless depend on the various shelters and food kitchens.

The captions on each picture really caught my attention.

Bob and Marni at the Thai Stick restaurant.

Sandy and Paul dine at the Thai Stick watched over by the Warrior Godess

We walked a few blocks to David's Delicatessan (and to be honest, we'd been there less than 24 hours before) and showing complete lack of restraints dove right into the dessert tray. After asking the waiters if there were nuts in the German Chocolate and being told 'no', Marni discovered there were walnuts which was a problem. Luckily, she was able to soothe her itchy palate with the double chocolate decadence!

Bob and Marni went to see Avenue Q, a very adult take off on the Muppets, at the Orpheum Theatre and took a picture of the inside balcony (above).

Sandy and Paul visited the DaVinci exhibit at the Metreon.

Greetings!

Finally got to a hotel with internet access- our cell phones don't get any services out here in Ft. Nelson, BC. We're about 36 hours out from Anchorage, and are hoping to arrive sometimes on Monday.. *crosses her fingers*

Have fun in Seattle- I hear it's beautiful out there. I'll text you once we reach an area with cell phone service or a hotel with internet.

Love you all!

Rachel
