Christmas at the Rose house is always good for a few laughs. This year, Rachel received a loaf of bread. We convinced her Michael had accidentally given her present (a gift card) to the neighbor s and she received their bread. It wasn't until she sliced the bread that she found her card inside...needless to say SHE was not amused....WE, on the other hand, were VERY amused!
Poor Toad had to sit at the door and watch our deck and back yard as the birds were feeding one cold winter morning. She 'cackled' the entire time and was not happy when we ignored her. One particularly large mourning dove (middle left) taunted her for about 20 minutes.
Anyone else see Casper, the friendly ghost?
